It was SO nice to finally return to Nevermoor! Ahh I love this book. (I literally said that out loud as I finished the book 😅)

The Nevermoor series continues to just knock it out of the park. Silverborn was one of my most anticipated releases of this year and I’m glad to say it did not disappoint.

The story starts with Morrigan keeping a huge secret, even from herself it seems.
Though I was glad to see that her hiding her apprenticeship with Squall wasn’t throughout the whole book. Though it still goes on for way too long for my taste. The MC hiding major secrets from their companions/family is one of me least favorite tropes.

Secrets and their revelations appear to be a major theme in this installment and I was down for all of it. There were definitely some shocking reveals. There were murder mysteries, investigations, and hidden relatives. There wasn’t much school stuff in this book but I found I didn’t mind much since the storyline was just so good.

Jessica Townsend is an extremely talented writer. The humor was great, the pacing was on point, and my love of the characters just continues to grow. Now I eagerly await the next book in this series and can only hope it comes soon.
