Honestly it’s just not what I need right now. Slow definitely but the more I read the less I felt connected

I don’t think there’s a single thing I could say about this book that would truly capture its magnificence. There is no other book like Paradise; none in the world.

A challenging read—there are many, many characters, and since the story is nonlinear, it can be difficult to keep track of who returns from one episode to another. So it wasn’t my favorite Morrison, but like all of her work it had some gorgeous prose and ideas to chew on.

Really captivating writing and I really tried to keep up but the story despite being easily written has so many characters and it goes back and forth between time frames and POVs and I can't enjoy the prose bc I can't keep track of who's who
