I’ve owned this book since it released back in 2020 but was worried the hype would impact my enjoyment! This book is so beloved I felt I couldn’t help but go in with high expectations and that made me nervous because I didn’t want to be let down but thankfully I was pleasantly surprised with how much depth this had despite being labelled a fluffy romance! It was definitely fluffy and sweet but there was a lot more substance to it than that.

I related so much to Gus which I wasn’t expecting when his character was first introduced, but as we got to know him he really showed he had so much more to him and his backstory really tugged at my heartstrings!
Maggie and Pete were sooo cute and I loved seeing their interactions with January and Gus!!
Keen to read more of Emily Henry’s books!

Ok...... this is a pretty entertaining read
its not that bad of a romance.....
So the characters....

January literally acts like a little kid
When things get too hard, she tried to get someone else to do them orelse try to forget about them......your problems will NOT just suddenly disappear if you want them to..... but yeah
When I was reading Before I Go by Kennady Ryan, the pain and loss in it made me feel uncomfortable but this book doesnt dwell on it as much even though it is still there. So thats a plus

Gus or Augustus Everett...
First of all... what the heck is that name?? like no offense but thats too much work
"Augustus" is a mouthful......
Why is it that the first time he was introduced, he was giving old man vibes... like I literally keep thinking of him like that
