Went into this book not knowing anything about it. So much of it hit close to home. Has to be 5 stars for me.

Every single time I read an Emily Henry book I am left swooning. Beach Read is definitely my next favorite after Happy Place. I swear this woman writes straight into my soul with every single book and it’s kind of insane. I love the way she writes the depth of each character and how you can really feel their growth throughout the story. I always say the same things about her books - but I can’t rave enough about how well she incorporates a story between the characters, on their own, and together. The entirety of the book is not focused on romance alone and there is so much more going on - but it all leads you back to the two characters finding themselves and each other. I absolutely adore EH and her writing never disappoints (me).
