Series review: Pretty solid. I liked all of the heroes well enough and I thought the world was interesting, though not quite as fully detailed as I would've liked. I love a reverse harem where she gets together with the guys at different paces and I thought this did it really well. I particularly liked the arc of her romance with Valen. The big weakness of the series is that it didn't feel like it had enough of a villain or enough of a triumphant win. The nightmares felt like they were leading to a bigger bad guy, but Eryx was not given enough weight to feel like the Big Bad. Which lead to the big fight and win feeling anticlimactic. Without that plot momentum I was feeling a bit bored by the end of the final book.

I have to admit that I wasn't entirely sure if this book was gonna be my thing. I love both Rory Miles and Harper Frey, but I'm not a huge fan of those female characters who are amazing at fighting, refuse to follow the rules and have issues with showing their softer sides. Don't get me wrong. It's an amazing thing they exist. They're just usually not for me. However, I wanted to give this book the benefit of the doubt and it really helped that I got an arc of this book to give it a try.

From the very start this book is as action packed as you expect it to be. I personally have a hard time following action in general, but the authors from this book did a great job with finding some sort of order in the chaos and helping me to follow what was going on and what was happening. I especially really loved how we soon found out that all the action and the mysterious monster we're meeting are part of a bigger storyline. I can't wait to get some answers!

Although the heroine in this story is not my favorite kind of heroine, especially not because she comes across as really unreasonable for no good reason quite often, I did like her development throughout the story and how she was slowly opening up a little, trusting the guys more and more. In this book it were only glimpses, we're at the beginning of the story after all, but watching her grow and learn in future books will without a doubt be amazing.

Just like I can't wait to see the relationship between her and her guys develop. This book takes things relatively slow. Which is not much of a surprise since our heroine has issues opening up. And she's clearly not the only one. One of the heroes has his own personal issues he's not ready to talk about, the kind of issues that really broke my heart and I felt so so sorry for everything happening to him, and there seems to be some big issue with another one too.

I really can't wait now to get my hands on the second book!

I LOVE Greer!! Tough FMC's are my favorite and Greer is that and more! She's tough, independent and dedicated to her job as a demon slayer. Unfortunately, like the real world, her parents want more from her- marriage! So we get the whole arranged marriage trope (to another slayer) that neither participants necessarily wanted. Throw a wrench in that wheel, and here comes a fated mate who's also a bear shifter with a cinnamon roll heart! And finally a mysterious fae shifter to round out this RH! This book is action packed with so many twists and turns! It's fast paced and so steamy! Such an adventure with great character development!! I can't wait for the next book!!!

There is a lot going on here and I loved it! From terrible parents, to cuddly bear shifters, Greer has a heck of a lot going on right now. Battling weird demons while navigating complicated parental relationships and arranged marriage, the quirky and cute characters she meets along the way and the blossoming love she has going on with 3 equally hot and complicated men, this is a fast paced adventure that had me giggling out loud in parts. With a cliffhanger ending that makes me hope that this is what the Oracle witch was talking about, this is the start of an epic new series!

Wow!

Don't even know where to start but what a great read. Greer is just awesome, Dane is swoon worthy, Valencia has some things to work through and Bastian is entertaining. Looking forward to book 2.

Yeah, nooooo.

Shes’s about 20 years too late, and more than one too many one-liner quips out of date. Especially when it comes before killing the bad guy, only for them to escape and have to be chased down [in leather pants no less, she just happened to be wearing while relaxing and drinking wine at home
