This was an interesting read. When people say the musical is like the Disneyfied version it really fits.
It didn’t have a traditional plot structure and it was in many ways a strange story and a strange book, but I really enjoyed it

Dragged on a lot more than I was expecting but maybe that's because I'm comparing it to the musical.
This book is wild. Not suitable for children and lots of unnecessary things like beastiality happened which didn't really add to the story.
I did like the fleshing out of the characters though, especially some of the side characters that don't really get a back story in the film and musical.
