I was so excited to read this and wanted to love it, I love Greek mythology. But this story fell flat. It honestly fwlt like nothing happened but so much happened at the same time. There was very little character development and even the villains were not fully developed (I love a villain). It took me so long to get through this because of how boring it was.
I... wish I had liked this book more? It had so much potential and yet I didn't click with any of the characters, the plot got too complicated with no payoff, and the romance (and love interest) were very bland.
I can appreciate the originality of the idea and the adaptation of greek mythology to a brand new concept. But I just didn't love it.

I really struggled to stay interested. I even thought about not finishing because I just couldn’t get into the story. She had like 3 different names for characters and the backstory was so hard to stay invested in. BUT I’m glad I stuck with it because the second half was so much better. This felt like it could’ve had a lot more set up for the world with more details and been a duology. I really loved the main male character and I don’t regret reading.
I struggled between rating it 3 stars or 4 stars. Ultimately I would say 3.5 stars so I rounded up.

Boże no bardzo lubię tą książkę, ale to zakończenie? Słabe. Nie usatysfakcjonowało mnie ani trochę, spodziewałam się czegoś innego.

Das Buch erinnert mich ein wenig an einen actionfilm. Schnelles Tempo, unterhält gut, aber die Protagonisten werde ich wohl schnell wieder vergessen.

Vraiment une lecture agréable, avec des retournements de situation que j'avais pas vu venir pour certains. C'est vraiment bien écrit, ça se lit tout seul et l'intrigue m'a bercé plusieurs soirs de suite.
Ca ne révolutionne pas le genre du YA, mais ça évite très bien certains gimmicks que je n'aime pas trop dans ce genre.

Mi "historia"/leída de este libro fue un poco particular y larga, lo empecé hace dos meses y me estaba encantando, realmente estaba fascinada el libro me hacia acordar a los juegos del hambre con mitología de por medio (y seamos reales que cosa mejor hay que eso), llegue a leer un 70% del libro y lo deje porque justo vinieron los exámenes finales, hoy me propuse retomarlo y quede anonadada, déjenme decirles que este es un gran libro
I struggled to get through this. There were a lot of names thrown around and a lot of switching between names. I liked that we jumped right into the action. There was a lot of twisting and turning and I didn’t get as drawn into the book as I had hoped.
I’m all for making up your own version of Greek Mythology… just make it make sense please.
