I really wanted to like this book more. It had so many elements that I enjoy - Greek mythology, a female protagonist, and good twists and turns. I had a hard time getting through this book, though. Not sure what it was.

I love this book so much. I’m so happy I finally got around to reading it fully. The romance being a background thing was such a plus to me. I was able to focus on the growth of the characters. I wish this was a series so bad omg.

I enjoy remakes of Greek mythology. The story line got a little confusing for me in spots. I didn't think the ending was entirely believable, but Lore and her friends are sympathetic characters and the pace moves quickly.

I tried, but ultimately dnf-ed it. The premise is exactly what I want in a book, I love Greek mythology and urban fantasies are usually a lot of fun, but unfortunately I didn't particularly relate to the protagonist and the writing style wasn't for me. I think other people may still really enjoy it, hence the two stars instead of one, but I won't come back to this.
