I finnnnnalllyyyy am finished with this book! It took forever to read 😆 I was halfway in/halfway out of it. If you want something that’s like the Avengers x Greek mythology x a cheesy teen drama on the CW/freeform, this is for you. I feel like the reader is just thrust in the story and there is so much going on that I’m like who is who and why should I care lol. It was an okay story but I did have fun during some moments.
I really enjoyed this. Ending felt... Rushed? Missing some of the threads the author had laid out? Still--an original, exciting read that will be easy to recommend.

My first Alexandra Bracken book and it was AMAZING!! I LOVED Lore. Not only did I learn so much about Greek mythology, but the way it was woven and built into the story was just brilliant. The characters were great. I loved watching them all evolve from beginning to end. The Agon is so intense and literally destroys not just gods, but mortals too. This was a perfect urban fantasy stand alone! I was very satisfied with the ending and the overall book. I highly recommend!

It was a fun read, a little rough at first. If you like Greek Mythology or have been looking for a book to read after Percy Jackson this is a great book to reach for.
