This is such a cute Christmas story, about how sometimes we just need to wind down to get our life back on track. It has a bit of romance, and bit of snow (after all, it's Christmas), and a bit of magic. Ashley dreams of one day being able to design her own jewelry, but for now she works selling jewelry at a big store in Manhattan. But as her holiday plans make an unexpected change, she heads back to her hometown and meets a stranger on the train that gives her a charm bracelet. The bracelet seems to have magical powers, and seems to be helping her have the perfect Christmas.
This is a cute Christmas love story. I felt like the charm bracelet storyline overpowered the romance a bit. I would have liked more scenes between Ashley and Aiden, showing why they belonged together. I'm not a big fan of magical elements in romance, so I'm not the right audience for this book.
Thanks, NetGalley, for the ARC I received. This is my honest and voluntary review.

Cutesy hallmark-movie type romance.
I received a copy of Christmas Charms through NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.
In Christmas Charms, Ashley, who currently lives in NYC, returns home to Owl Lake for Christmas. On the way to Owl Lake Ashley meets a woman who gives her a bracelet that seems to be magical, giving Ashley the Christmas of her dreams.
This feel good holiday romance was the perfect read to get me in the holiday spirit. The story is well written and the storyline makes you want to live the Christmas of her dreams right along with Ashley. The characters are easily likable and Fruitcake the dog is adorable. I really enjoyed this trip to Owl Lake in this cute holiday romance. It’s definitely worth the time this holiday season!

“The Christmas of my dreams doesn’t have to be over. It’s mine for as long as I choose to live it.”
This sweet, small-town, Hallmark Christmas story was just perfect for listening to while running errands and doing chores. I was swept up in the magic of the season and the story and didn’t want to stop listening.

I think everyone could use a little bit of Christmas magic and whimsy this year, can't we? For that, Christmas Charms has us covered!
In this book, we meet Ashley who is returning home to the small town of Owl Creek for the first time in years after her Christmas plans fall apart. On the trip home she receives a mysterious charm bracelet...and things only get more mysterious from there as the charms on the bracelet begin to come true right before her eyes. Will she get her happily ever after?
This book truly is a Hallmark Christmas movie in book form... and one I truly hope to see come to the screen at some point as others by the author have. It is romantic, it is whimsical, it puts focus on family and tradition... and most importantly, it's filled with Christmas magic! I absolutely could not get enough. Was it a little predictable at times? Maybe, but I don't mind a little predictability in a story like this... especially at the holidays. I find it comforting and just a nice, sweet read for the holiday season.
If you love a good Christmas story or are a fan of Hallmark movies/stories any time of year, this is certainly one worth checking out.
**I received a complimentary copy of this book from the publisher via Netgalley for consideration. All thoughts are 100% my own.
