One Kiss is a short and sweet novella introducing us to Dean and Kat, work colleagues, best friends, and nothing more… Until New Year’s Eve when they both find themselves single and without anyone to kiss. So, they decide to kiss each other, not knowing that they’re opening up the biggest can of worms known to man, because it may just be true that Dean and Kat feel a lot more for each other than either of them ever thought and just one midnight kiss is going to blow their relationship apart.

I really, really enjoyed One Kiss. It only took me an hour or so to read and when you’ve got literally hundreds of ebooks, it’s nice to get one out of the way quickly and sharply, and I quite enjoy the odd novella here and there. I really enjoyed getting to know Kat and Dean, they spoke to me immediately and their chemistry was super amazing, so wonderful in fact that I was very surprised neither of them had yet acted on it! It all culminated at New Year, a holiday I’m not the biggest fan of (it works better if you’re part of a couple, surely?) but if you’ve got people to celebrate it with, maybe it is indeed better.

Lisa Fox is a very talented writer, I was taken in by Kat and Dean right from the beginning and there were parts where the novella was quite hot! I thought the novella was really good, short and sweet and I really hope we’ll be seeing more from Lisa Fox in the future as I thoroughly enjoyed this New Year’s Eve escapade, it was warm, it was witty and it sizzled with some pretty special chemistry, Kat and Dean are one heck of a pair and I loved that they started as friends – as Dean’s friend Shannon said, that was how she and her husband started out…
