Sigh. I don't know if I want to say negative things about this book, because Jen Campbell holds such a dear, precious place in my heart.
I will say: I don't think poetry is my thing, I don't like sentence fragments or idea fragments where a lot of the story is built by my imagination bridging the gap, and I don't like when language is so fanciful that I don't understand what is being literally said.
I think I might take the rest of her books off of my TBR and just accept that it is okay to compartmentalize your complete adoration/obsession with someone.

Super confusing but a few great poems ‘kitchen’ and ‘hello, dark’ were my faves

Dark with plenty of twisted beautiful. Concerning the Principles of Human Knowledge and Hello, Dark resonated with me.
