This book ups the pace of the previous installments by punching you in your emotions relentlessly. I cried several times.
The development of our main character is really at the forefront here, along with several mysteries that weave together and unfold beautifully. The only thing that pulled me out of the story at points was some of the dialogue and a few of the description choices. However, these issues are not out of place in the genre so it was easy to move past.
