Really cute read! Loved these characters! I really love how Arthur was written! Chaotic bastard.

Was not expecting that third act though. I was not prepared for it and I was STRESSEDDDD for multiple chapters

I enjoyed the Gwen & Art are Super Gay theme, but the rest of the plot only reappears sporadically. Gwen’s POV starts of very naive & there is character development but it seems like they set the bar so low that you’re cheering for basic normal self esteem.

Enjoyed it but not as much as I thought I was going to/hoped I would. (Which is very much a 'me' problem and not a 'book' problem.) Still, it's very well written and I would highly reccommend it if you've read and enjoyed Croucher's adult novels and/or you're looking for some really good LGBTQ+romantic fantasy in general. (Though I'm not gonna lie - I would be VERY interested in that King Arthur/Lancelot story!)

Very cute enemies to friends to definitely not lovers, all end game relationships feel right, friendships forged forever, and I wished this book lasted another 200 pages or so because I could have easily read more for hours on end. Sidney was by far my favourite character. My only critique is the lack of personality the King and Queen had concerning their, uh, later novel arc. Still could not put this book down.
