While I definitely felt like the illustrations and the setting were the best things about this book, the story was cute and fast-paced as well so it was worth getting through. It definitely wasn't overly memorable for me personally, but I think that is largely because graphic novels aren't necessarily one of my favorite mediums. The story was cute and I enjoyed the characters, so it was worth the hour or so it took me to get through it.

Beautiful, detailed, whimsical art, but a jumpy and hard to follow story with weird speech bubble placing. Not sure if the latter has anything to do with it being translated from French, so that can be forgiven. The plot, however, had the feeling of missing panels or skipped pages that made some things hard to follow.
