Most of the time, I see a book I want to read and add it to my TBR but lets be honest, the TBR is so long, that most of the books never get read, but the more I seen posted about this series, the more I knew I needed to read it. Finally a short break in ARC allowed me to read it and I enjoyed every second and kinda was mad I waited so long!

Avery and Christian meet and have a ONS but go their separate ways. But find out later that Avery is the coach's daughter. Avery has also left a bad relationship and sworn off dating for a year. The way that Christian literally waits the whole year while building his relationship with her is so swoony! I am obsessed with them!

Love the cross over to the momcom and the langford brother series.
Otherwise not particularly special story, was fun but wouldn’t go out of my way for this.

Loved this one, very cute! He waited for her for a year

Birds, baseball, and friends to lovers

This was so cute! I laughed, I got emotional,I got annoyed at miscommunication, and I enjoyed the spicy scenes. This couple was so great. The way the H showed her how she deserved to be treated and it was effortless for him, he just did the cutest things. The food, the sharpies, the entire bird zoo... totally swoon. The h was great too , she was relatable. The roommate was fun, I can't wait for his book. The h's friends were a bit on the annoying side, so idk if I'd like them as a lead h. We'll, maybe the one with the h's dad. Lol.

The ball into the bird and her coming onto the pitch was a bit eye rolling/cringe. After that it was cute. I love the building of a friendship.
I found some parts a bit contradictory - the issue with germs from the MMC and then touching birds… it makes zero sense to me.
