“The Fall Out” ⚾️ 🐉 I loved this book even though the very slow burn from the one night stand to the HEA was killing me! @jennibarabooks knows how to write a grumpy MMC who is a golden retriever for our FMC. Chris who’s a germaphobe falls instantly for Blondie who only discovers later on she’s his new coach’s daughter Avery. The way he cares for Avery and is completely respectful of her 1 year dating sabbatical. They become best friends and parents to a puffin! Chris even stops arguing with his coach out of respect for her. There’s spice in the first 10% but then not again til 80% through.

I started off and I absolutely loved it, then I don’t know I felt like it just became a story about a bird

Chris and Avery are perfect! Puff is the absolute cutest! I loved every bit of their love story! She had such a unique job too! The audiobook is fantastic!

Cute, just a little boring for me at this time. I loved being back in Boston though for the Rev's and the Boltz. A cute quick read. Audio is pretty good too.
