Duet narration đ§
Obviously so happy about it being duet narrated! Thanks guys đ but a pretty normal sports romance. Super slow, slow-burn. Loved the addition of the puffin. Loved all the cameos from the Momcoms. All round a good feel-good romance.

âWhen something was worth it, I was willing to do all the heavy lifting. Because if there was one thing I was sure of, it was that Avery Wilson was worth it.â
What do you get when you mix a crunchy cinnamon roll, a strong and sassy FMC, and a fluffing puffin? Romcom gold! The Fall Out by Jenni Bara is a delightful series starter! Christian âDragonâ Damiano and the Boston Revs were introduced in Jenniâs MomComs book and the transition from one series to another is flawless. The Fall Out is funny and sweet with tons of Mother Maker character cameos! Every woman needs besties like Wren & Jana! Chris is the rookie pitcher for the Revs and a crunchy cinnamon roll grump. Avery Wilson is a ray of happiness and brilliant avian veterinarian. After a recent disastrous relationship, she declares a dating hiatusâŚafter just one more night. This one-night-stand, he falls first, opposites attract love story made my face hurt from smiling so hard. Chris and Avery are magic together from the start. I love the way he respects her hiatus and treats her like a queen in friendship. The way Averyâs kind & charming personality balances Chrisâ acerbic nature was a lovely journey. With pop-in character cameos, vivid imagery that transports you through Boston, and swoon-worthy romance, The Fall Out is easily one of my top romcom reads of the year. I cannot wait for more of this series!
OMPuffins Connor Crais and Rose Dioro brought this story to life perfectly! I didnât think I could love Christian Damiano and Avery Wilson more, enter Rose & Connor. The Fall Out was a fun and flirty audiobook that made me swoon even harder for Jenniâs wonderful characters. This is a must-listen audio for any crunchy cinnamon roll loving baseball romance fan!

I absolutely adored this book. It starts with a hook-up, a puffin on the field and a sabbatical. Being the "baseball players daughter" turned "coaches daughter" has made making honest connections difficult for Avery. She is used more then anything just to get to her dad. This track record leads to both the hook-up and the sabbatical; however, Christian decides to play the long game. Be her friend. Show her how she deserves to be treated. Try to get along with her father, who is also his coach. Seeing Avery and Chris build their friendship was honestly a beautiful thing. I also love that he could be a total player, but chooses not to be.

Oh, my heart. This book was so sweet! This was my first Jenni Bara book, and I'm instantly a fan! I loved everything about this book. Avery and Christian's story is full of so much angst and sweetness. From their adorable meet-cute to every angsty moment, I enjoyed it all! The chemistry between these two was
4.5 âď¸ and I read this in a day! Chris is literally the most patient and sweet man there is and so far gone for Avery after a steamy one night stand! And their chemistry was definitely hot and heavy! It isn't until later on when he realizes she is his coach's daughter and that is the reason she bolted out of his place after finding out. But their friendship is so adorable and I absolutely loved their bonding over Puff's recovery! I cannot wait to devour the rest of this series! And I also love how Beckett pops up trying to continue matchmaking lol.
What to expect:
-Baseball player x Veterinarian
-Coach's daughter
-Grumpy x sunshine
-He falls first and HARD
-One night stand to friends to lovers

This is the first book in the series and I'm already hooked. Christian and his teammates were awesome. I really like the bond between Christian and Emerson. There is a grumpy/sunshine situation on top of the one with Avery. Avery and Christian have a one night stand then he finds out she is the coach's daughter. The sparks fly, but Christian is friendzoned. A freak accident with a puffin starts off a chain of events. Oh my gosh Puff is so adorable and the way Christian is with him, swoon. There is no way Avery is going to be able to resist him for long. That man knows how to treat a lady like a queen and make her feel special. I may have squeed a bit with cameos from some of my favorites in the Momcom series. I just love seeing those characters. One of my favorite things of the book was the humor. I laughed a lot while reading this. Another favorite was the scenes during the holidays especially Christmas. I read this book in a day. I just couldn't put it down. Let me tell you a cold rainy day was the perfect setting to read this especially when opening day for the local minor league team was postponed too. I really can't wait for more from this series even more so knowing Emerson's story is next. This book is so good trust me you are gonna fall for these characters.
