Entertaining. Dark drawings. Lovecraft has always seemed tame to me because it has to be put into the context of the time of writing, and I always find those unexciting. But the story was entertaining.

The story of the old ones was expertly told and the addition of a few colour illustrations was wonderful. A haunting told brilliantly.
