I did not enjoy it as much as the first book. Everything felt so rushed. But what a lovely couple we have in this second book.

jerky writing takes away from characters and story telling

Dnf

The concept of the novella is easy to digest and the set up is decent but the writing is jerky. Some sentences do not blend well into the next and it just feels a bit like bullet points: the venue is described in this sentence; my sister is jealous in this sentence; I board the train in this sentence. Maybe you’ll like it, the writing just wasn’t for me.

The characters give me the ick. It's a novella so it's supposed to move quickly but the insta love with no reservations was just weird. 'you're my everything, I'd do anything to keep you safe, my love' when they met yesterday...

I got to the part about virginity and that took me out completely.

Kinda boring. Didn’t keep me interested enough. Also didn’t like the writing.
