It’s a white man telling us we should be more like Donald Trump, and that we should all want to be rich. He spends every page shitting on poor people and has no critical analysis of the systems that keep folks in cycles of poverty. It’s a privileged person saying “look how hard I worked for everything that was handed to me.” Maybe I’d take it seriously if it had any real advice other than “you have to want money more than anything else in your life.” This should be called Secrets of a miserable human.”

Es muy cortico, tiene cosas que aportan , aunque en otras no estoy tan de acuerdo. Igual es un buen libro para cambiar la mentalidad frente al dinero y nuestra relación con él.

Justo ahora acabe de leerlo, es impresionante lo que he podido descubrir sobre mi patrón del dinero, eso si "¡AVISO!", quien no esta decidido mentalmente a cambiar, este libro no es para ti. Aclarado lo anterior el libro te da muchas pautas de como cambiar tu condicionamiento, que dejes de ser la esponja de la pobreza que has estado absorbiendo por años y que renueves tu pensar absorbiendo nuevo conocimiento. No es un libro mágico, creo que los libros que he leído ninguno lo ha sido, pero si estas dispuesto a tomar ACCIÓN y realmente querer cambiar tu vida, claramente eso es lo que obtendrás cambiaras tu vida así sea que una cosa cambie por este libro, tu vida ya será diferente. ¿Te lo recomendaría?. Principalmente te ayuda a entender el por que de tus pensamientos financieros, por que no te salen bien las cosas, por que te tropiezas una y otra vez en la misma piedra. Recuerda que leer este tipo de libros, es como un crecimiento gradual, aplicas poco a poco lo que aprendes, lo enseñas y obtienes tus resultados. ¿Yo he cambiado?, pues claro que he cambiado. El libro deja claro que ser rico no precisa que los seas económicamente, puedes ser rico con lo que ya tienes, pero claro, cambiando quien eres, para poder hacer lo que quieres y poner tener que lo deseas. Espero haberte ayudado.

i finally finished this book with my fiancé and loved it :) it uncovers our distorted mindsets and views about money, and how we’re holding ourselves back from unlocking our true potential.

Two stars, because while the book does teach you some really fundamental stuff on managing your finances and reprogramming your mind and outlook on the universe, it is constantly and I mean constantly promoting its seminar, which I think is just disrespectful to the reader. Again, it is quite fair if you promote it once or twice, but this book has the intent of hammering you down while you succumb to it and finally buy the course (which cost is in thousands of dollars, mind you). Secondly, some points could have been less generalized, and less offensive to the readers, as there are better ways to tell someone how to do things rather than generalizing in the way that people are broke because they are not wanting it enough. There are many fates in this world, and no person is the same, and yes I understand that it said this book is not generalizing, but it is hard to escape the feeling that it really is, and that disclaimer is there just to seem nice.
Overall, the contents of the book are alright if you are beginning to read about finances, and there are a few good ideas such as leaving aside the percentage of your wealth for specific stuff, and other things, but there is really nothing special or exclusive in this book that common sense has not taught you, this book just summarises those points and for that reason it may be good to read.

Este libro da claves y ejercicios para tener una mente abierta a ganar dinero y a conservarlo. Señala las diferencias de mentalidad entre la gente que genera dinero y la que no además de afrontar mitos sobre el dinero. Me ha gustado mucho, me ha abierto la mente a nuevos métodos muy prometedores
