Just did not care to find out about the big mystery. I am probably not a mystery reader.

What an absolute delight to read. A precocious and cheeky youngest sister, left to her own devices, imagination and chemistry lab. There's parts Nancy Drew and Hermione Grainger in Flavia de Luce and she makes for a very engaging character. I look forward to reading more of the mysteries she solves and her further interactions with her older sisters, Dogger and Inspector Hewitt.

I needed this feel good read! Loved Flavia—can see why she’s polarizing to some, but I loved her. Can’t wait to read more in this series!
