This made me laugh so loudly and so often that everyone in my house was getting very annoyed at me! It’s just absolutely hilarious - like Georgia Nicholson for today’s teens. The situations India finds herself in are ridiculous but so relatable and the whole thing just cracked me up. I’ve told so many students to read the first India Smythe book and I can’t wait to get them to read this one, too!

This is the first new book I’ve read that mentions the pandemic, and I thought it was done brilliantly - it’s perfectly captured the anxiety, the mad hoarding, the horrors of home-working and the banality of constantly being at home but interspersed with some hilarious lines and scenes that genuinely made me look back at the very beginning of the lockdown (think back to when everyone was baking and doing Zoom quizzes, rather than living with existential dread) with a kind of rose-tinted fondness. It felt really good to laugh about it all. Thank you for the copy, Sarah, I really needed this!
