I was not expecting a normal story of adventure when I picked up this little book from Jules Verne.
I was pleasantly surprised by the story of a captain of a extremely fast new boat going to run the blockade at Charleston because of the high profits his uncle can make. On the way he finds a girl, rescues a man and escapes a navy.
It was a charming story.
