Cute story love that it was sex positive and not judgmental of Cade's own experiences (Even though Cade herself was). Felt that there should have been more smutty scenes for the topic of the book. There were only like  2 I think and they were in the same chapter are short.

“Apparently, this was adulting: doing the right thing and still not getting what you wanted.”

“Love. How had it happened so quickly? Maybe because her soul had been searching for Selena her whole life without even knowing it.”

This was a super cute read. It was fun to get to know the main characters and go on this little journey with them. I enjoyed how funny this book could be at times and really appreciated some of the conversations around sex education and consent. The subplot around art was a really interesting story. However, I found Cade's parents to be a bit much (as I'm sure they were meant to be) and sometimes I didn't quite believe the romance. I think it felt a little insta-love to me. The entire plot of the novel only takes about a month and they actively dislike each other for the first two weeks or so. I will say that this wasn't true the whole time. There were definitely large portions where I 100% believed in their chemistry despite the short time they were together. I think I just don't love the idea of "meant to be" in contemporaries. In fantasies and dramas, it's easier to suspend that belief and maybe I'm just a cynic but when an easy-going, fluffy rom-com brings in the soulmates trope, it's not often that I can get behind it. Overall, though, I enjoyed my times with this story and these characters. It was a sweet and charming novel. I'd definitely pick something up by this author again.

Cute af <3

Fun.

I absolutely loved this book! It was the perfect choice for my F/F romance! Cade and Selena are so different and yet so perfect for each other. Karelia did a wonderful job of character development and these characters struggle with sensitive subjects. Cade and Selena really felt like friends I was rooting for to have there happily ever after and those are the best stories in my book!
