This year, maybe I need to re-evaluate my ratings. Am I maybe being to harsh rating this book a 3? But it can't be a 4 because there have been some solid books that I've rated a 4 and unfortunately this book isn't on that level. But then I look at other reviewers who have rated the book highly.
And now I remember, it's all subjective. And I'm happy to have finally read another book this month!
The book was well written, I liked the way it flowed. I was quite doubt about how the author would go about the story and joining the two characters together but it worked well. It made sense and both characters were built nicely. I actually would have been happy if the main characters didn't have the 'should I say it shouldn't I problem' - I don't think it was necessary. Some books I feel are just made to be happy books where everything flows and its all happy, life happens, but we deal it and find happiness and love through it and HEA. Erm, I don't know but there was something about the way Selena was written that I really loved so well done to the author!

I wanted to like this book, and I stuck with it to the end in hopes that I would. I didn’t hate it, but I didn’t love it either. It was just okay.
The writing wasn’t the best,
the attraction between the two main characters felt very forced, and the cast of characters lacked depth. The character development was barely there and really only happened a little bit for Selena. This felt more like a self-published lesbian romance.

love love love this book. the building of relationship between the main characters is so natural and the setting makes the story feel fresh.
I think I just read this at the right time for me personally and that's why I liked it so much.
