Felt different than other romance novels I’ve read, which was fun. Hippy Portland vibe came through well. Not sure I truly bought the chemistry or romantic development of the characters, but loved the emphasis on pleasure and sex positivity and queerness.

However i was a bit surprised when cade was so obsessed with food and lowkey had an eating disorder?! Especially because it is not recognized as such in the book and is not talked about. Did not like that part.

If you, like me, are frustrated with the lack of sex toys in lesbian romance novels, this is probably the book for you. Although I have to say there was still far less than I was expecting considering it’s a book about a sex toy store. Still loved the characters and the romance.
