I liked the story, the characters and the writing. I laughed quite a few times, which I don't usually do at rom coms. The audiobook narrator was good too.
My only issue was that for a story about a sex store, I really expected the spicy scenes to be better. They were so short and missing so many details. They were also improbable. A 30yr old character who's never been able to have an O in her life (after lots of trying), is not going to finish after 5 seconds.

4.5 Great light-hearted read.
I love a book that can make me laugh, and boy did this one deliver. A story about two women trying to save a sex store left to them by a free spirit who was awful with taxes would be something I immediately fell in love with.
I love character-driven stories and watching Selena and Cade's growth is a big reason I like this story. The joking and the bantering are big parts too (who doesn't love to laugh?) but it was also the seriousness of Cade wanting to protect Selena and Selena teaching Cade.
There was only one thing I would say I didn't like and it was the way the friends were written. They didn't seem to add much to the story and often times were just there but it didn't hinder the story in any way so I would say it wasn't a huge problem.

Very cute wlw romcom. Less steam than I expected from a book about women running a sex shop.
