Another great one from Cavanagh. Can’t really say much without repeating myself but thoroughly enjoyed this book - the antagonist reminded me a lot of Silas from Da Vinci Code (a favourite of mine). I liked how this book focused a lot on the role of the jury and their perspective, showing a different side to the courtroom.

What a fantastic thriller! It is the perfect mix of Criminal Minds and Law & Order!! Now I am compelled to read the other books in the series.

This was interesting and a fast read! I can handle a court case thriller every once in a while and this one was extra complex!

The killer is on the jury? Great premise, exciting courtroom thriller.

I enjoy a good thriller occasionally, they aren't something I read many of. And this hit the spot. It reminded me of Runaway Jury at times, the courtroom explanations, a few jury scenes, but of course - the premise is rather different.

A serial killer manages to get onto the jury for one of his own crimes. Can he help find an innocent many guilty? Can the lawyers work out they have the wrong man in what seems an open and shut case?

It doesn't help that the accused in the case is a celebrity, a Hollywood star accused of murdering his new bride and her lover. Eddie Flynn takes on the case, seeing the possibility of innocence.

I haven't read an Eddie Flynn before, and don't think you need to in order to follow or enjoy this. We get different perspectives throughout, keeping the story moving but also fleshing it out. I liked the insights into the serial killer's mind particularly, and the trial scenes.

Some great twists, exciting conclusion, and this worked well as an audiobook, very easy to listen to and follow.

Enjoyable if you completely suspend disbelief and let all the incredible BS go.

The writing is mind numbingly boring. I just can’t force myself to continue. I keep getting the characters mixed up too. Everyone feels the same.
