When it took me a hot minute to get into this one, I was a little concerned, but it turned out to just be me! I deleted my brain of everything, lit a candle, and snuggled up. That did it. Loved this one as much as book one, more than book two, and I am very much looking forward to book four! What a fun read to end the summer.

Accomplice to the Villain By Hannah Nicole Maehrer

What its About: The magic is dying in Rennedawn and can only be saved by finding the solution to the prophecy. The Villain and Evie Sage along with the rest of their friends/family race to save everything. 

My Thoughts: 3/5 maybe 3.5/5. I was so excited to read this and had such high expectations. A lot happened throughout the whole plot but not a ton of it was important. I expected more from it to be honest. The last 50 pages were amazing and that honestly saved it for me and increased the rating to 3.5. Lots and lots of plot twists at the end. Plus I love the banter and laugh out loud moments. 

Spice rating: 🌶. Something finally happens with Trystan and Sage and it was so good. Very closed door but still good.
