I found this book helpful. There are a few ideas there repeated from other books, but enough personal stories and original concepts to keep me interested. The made up words and repeating the website was irritating and distracting, but the content was thought provoking and the author appeared sincere. So overall, I have a positive impression of the book.

This was one of the best books I have read in terms of clarity and good explanation. Also, it gave me good tips and the necessary boost for reprogramming and redesign all my daily habits including daily meditation

I couldn't finish this book. The author spent so long talking about Brules or bull shit rules that I started to recognise them in what I was reading.
Boring, drawn out, drivel.

All things considered I liked the way Lakhiani laid out his ideas and agreed with a lot of his practices. Gratitude, positivity and being present are all things that I have come to realize can enrich our lives. He really lays them out in an approachable way that had me looking at my own systems and beliefs and challenging them. The only downside was the clear business model involved, really felt like a product was trying to be sold to me which kind of contradicted the main message of the book. The way he had "levels" as tiers to succeeding at his method kind of irked me because it contradicted some of the actual points he made throughout. Overall very thought provoking I liked it.

I'm generally pretty leery of self-help books, but this was far and away, perhaps one of the best I've ever read. It offers practical, life changing advice that you can slowly introduce into your routine to help you succeed. I finished this in practically one sitting and I can' wait to begin applying the different life hacks into my life to see where it takes me. Just reading this book put me in a better state of being, I can hardly imagine what actually applying this book will do for me. I'm most excited about adding the six phase meditation to my morning routine, it's not a huge time commitment but it has the potential to open up so many doors. I'll have to write a follow up review after I've been practicing the life hacks for a set amount of time and can see and feel the results. A wonderful read that will open your mind and make you think about your perception of reality.

I received this book for free from Goodread's Giveaways in return for my honest, unbiased opinion.

Blegh. Author was extremely full of himself (and hot air). So many words to say very little. I could not bring myself to stomach finishing it.
