there were definitely some slower parts that were difficult to understand but considering i read the last 350 or so pages within the last day, i’d say it was a really good msytery novel that KEPT me on my toes +
i love anastasia, at first i didn’t but after learning more about her UGHH she’s so sweet

was I a fool to follow the red herrings? yes. did I gasped out loud when the first plot-twist dropped? yes. but did I manage to solve the murderer before it was revealed? also yes.

it's been long since a mystery book got me hooked, and no matter what other people says, for me, I loved every second of it.

The premise was interesting but the characters unlikable and flat. The author focuses on twists and turns I. A way that became laughable. There was too much that was unbelievable.

I also suspect some was lost in translation from the native language, but that was only part of the issue.

This is a book in translation and there's an odd flow to it. The sentence structure is sometimes awkward and the dialogue is stilted. It took me out of the story.

I feel it should have ended at about 70%. It felt like I was being strung along.
