I don't think I like her but I do care for her
But seriously so narratively disjointed

DNF: Just not the right time. January is already feeling heavy, and this content was not what I needed. Note to Future Reader in January 2026 - light and fluffy reads to match the snow.

I don't think I knew what I was getting into when I picked up this book. I would've loved to have dove into a book about women's mental health and her time at the hospital... but somehow mixing it with the shitty behavior of men in her past just was a little too disjointed for me. Maybe I didn't make it far enough to understand how those stories tied into her mental health journey, but I just couldn't find the desire to invest my time into seeing if I would like it better if I just read more. (There's too many other books out there for me to gamble on this.)

Wild to write a book centered on how the transgressions of men have informed your brand of white feminism that centers itself around men when you can’t even bring up the assumed number one transgressor.
