Anna Marie Tendler won me in the divorce. Love that she barely mentioned her ex husband and focused on nearly every other relationship in her life.
While I can appreciate Anna Marie Tendler's ability to take zero accountability for her actions and instead just blame men (because same), I wanted more from this memoir. Unfortunately, the author's lack of insight, privilege blindness and narcissism (bragging about her dainty wrists and low weight) really, really got in my way of enjoying this read.
I'm not sure how I feel about the merits of critiquing someone's memoir, however, I will happily critique the editor that allowed this to go out to the public as is.
