LMM's stories are the absolute loveliest. I just adore her characters! This book is cute and funny and mostly light-hearted, which is exactly what I needed.

Super favorite.

Nothing says spring like Anne! It's amazing how L.M Montgomery still made me love this book even though Anne wasn't really in it. Her children and the other characters are just as interesting. I miss quick-tempered and wistful little Anne but these books mirror life. We all grow up and life goes on.

oh, Anne, I miss you...

Although I still found this book to be horribly slow, I did enjoy the stories and the ending.

Though this was not as saccharine as the previous book.....it was also a bit of a disappointment. This book in the Anne series barely had Anne herself in it....and mostly was about friends of her children.

I honestly think I prefer the Meredith brood to the Blythe offspring......but this still didn't have the charm of the first couple books.

Was also a bit disappointed in the lack of comeuppance for a couple crap characters in here. And there was a romance that was 100% predictable.

It was an okay read but I'm sure this is not going to be a future re-read for me.

A delightful book about the Blythe children and their friends. I loved the little romance involved.
