An Unexpected Kind of Love was a charming read! I really enjoyed the chemistry between the main characters and the cozy bookshop setting. I loved the Notting Hill vibes. I also appreciated the references to other great LGBTQ+ romcoms. I do wish there had been a bit more interaction with some of the secondary characters, but overall, this was a sweet, feel-good story that I’m glad I picked up. I will definitely read more from Hayden Stone.

This was an absolutely adorable read. Aubrey is the squishiest little punk sweetbaby that ever there was and the way he gets swept right off his feet is entirely too cute.

I had a lot of fun reading this, though I’ll be honest- it only really hit my radar because Gary Furlong was narrating, and narrate he did. Ugh, that man could read me a phone book and I’d pay premium for it.

Anywho, there was a red flag when Blake gets his feathers ruffled. To be fair, the ruffling was not something I would wish on anyone, but the reaction was a bit. Not good.

Other than that, it’s all sparkles and stars for me. Four to be precise.
