Frankly, I expected more from this memoir. It turned into a DNF for me. I hoped to hear more about her career and individual movies. Instead, I got an irreverent rambling of foul language and crass stories that didn't add anything of worth to the book, and could easily have been left out.
I did enjoy that Ms. Driver narrated it herself. But due to the frequent use of the F-word-I found it hard to listen to and eventually ended it early.

Minnie Driver has released two music albums. I met her after a rare US concert in Philly. She was adorable on stage and very pleasant to talk to. I really enjoyed this audio version of her memoir. I love how her spirit shines through each story. This is not a Hollywood exposé, but she did choose a couple good Hollywood stories to tell. She speaks openly of her success without sounding boastful. Some very touching personal stories too.

A beautiful memoir, written in essays.

I listened on audio, and it was wonderful to hear Minnie Driver’s voice, humor, and emotion come through loud and clear.

(Also, as a bonus, at the end of the audiobook, there is a delightful interview between she and a friend.)
