Didnt love the love triangle. Thought it would resolved better/sooner.
The book made me feel like a teenager / young adult again. As someone who went abroad around a similar age, it felt very relatable and the way she writes the story makes it easy to pretend you're that same young girl. Is this a perfect story? No, probably not. But I read this in pretty much 24 hours and I loved every minute of it.

This fell flat for me. Despite it being marketed as a love triangle, there wasn’t enough chemistry or tension for me to believe that except for the character constantly mentioning that she was in a love triangle. I liked the mystery plot line a lot but it felt forgotten about at times and then developed in a rush at the end to resolve it. It was a good resolution but it could have been more drawn out.
