Across the Green Grass Fields is the sixth book in the Wayward Children series and I’m still not done with this series. I want more. I crave it. This book was truly magical and soft. I fell in love with this story.
After a particularly bad day, Regan finds a door that leads her to the Hooflands. Here she gets to meet centaurs, unicorns, kelpies and a number of other creatures. A group of centaurs welcome her into their herd, knowing that a human will be the one to save their land and she must be it.
With the story so short, I don’t want to talk a lot about it and ruin it, but I really loved this one. There is so much beauty throughout this novella that I loved and adored. I had a feeling while reading this that I know I’m going to be searching for again for a while.
I really fell in love with Regan’s character. There was something special about her that I can’t put my finger on right now, but she’s wonderful and I’ll protect her with my whole self.
This novella was soft and magical and I believe I looked at it with heart eyes while I was reading.

I loved it! Just as magical as all the other books in the series. I kind of want to start the whole series again. Definitely one of my favorite series of all time!!!
