Livro muito típico da Lynn Painter. É fake dating, como todos os livros dela, o que faz com que eles se começem a misturar um pouco na minha cabeça. Acho que ele precisava de algo para se destacar dos outros. Gostei muito da Dani, das melhores fmc da Lynn. Acho que a referência constante a músicas no monólogo interior das personagens por vezes é desnecessário, ninguém pensa assim. Além disso, sinto que faltou algo na resolução do conflito... Em geral, é um romance ya muito fofo.

this book ATTTEEEEE. i love her romcoms so much. alec and dani r to DIEEE FOR. i fucking love hockey sosoos much so when i found out she was releasing a hockey romance i DIED. ugh the tension between them is unreal. ending was rushed tho and i wished the whole ignroing postcards thing was dragged out more. found family in this is so cute. inaccurate things such as teenagers would not press charges for fighting 😭😭 and inaccuracy i feel for recruiting and allllllll but also how ur telling me the most popular kid doesn’t have social media?? hockey captain isn’t a slut?? lolll wtf this was so cute tho i loved.

Lynn painter is a genius yet again. While I’m not usually into the jock type for a love interest I loved Alec and Dani. I love childhood friends to lovers. I will say the miscommunication trope will never not be frustrating. Also fake dating is such a good trope. I almost wished they leaned into that a little longer but I love the built up tension. I never thought I’d be rooting for a fictional hockey team but I was also invested in that. I also loved her grandfather. I would never forgive the father personally but at least it’s a happy ending ig!
