Do I judge a book by it's cover? Somtimes yes. Isn't this one fabulous?
We meet Vincent, a woman in her 40s who has just found out about her husband's betrayal - which I cannot tell you about, or it will spoil the book. She travels to Paris in an attempt to process her pain and re-evaluate life and decide where to go from here.
While in France, Vincent works at an art musuem. Here she meets Lou - a gorgeous and charming younger man, he could be her child, and despite trying to fight it, the attraction is there. They begin a romance that is both spicy and beautiful. This not only gives her a distratcion from her life, it complicates her issues.
Cillian, Vincent's husband of many years, wants to work things out and save their marriage. Vincent is torn - between what she had with Cillian and the new love spark with Lou. She travels to the states for her son's wedding and she and Cillian spend time together and talk. We travel her journey with her and she focuses on taking care of herself and choosing the path that is best for her.
The audio was amazing. Loved the accents and the descriptives of Paris definitely make you want to go. I adored this book immensely, not just the amazing cover!
