This was great read. In fact, I’m good enough going to buy a copy for each of my kids. I wouldn’t be surprised if I find myself coming back to this throughout the years.

Intro to Stoic resilience

Ryan Holiday did well in using the examples of the greats (Teddy Roosevelt, Marcus Aurelius, etc) to show that resilience is the nicer way to live which gives more joy and freedom of choice. The book urges us to moving past the inconvenience of obstacles to their benefits.

There are some motivating ideas and examples... I've just read too much like this, and the examples seem intangible and not feasible for most small realistic goals unless transposed with great stretching...
most the great successes are whose m we n. We need to diversify success books.

I found it alright, there are some really good points but (this is me) I didn't like the celebrity worshipping and name dropping. It was trying a little too hard to be inspiring.
