This is my first ever hockey romance and I was t really sure at first whether I would like it. I think what made me enjoy it was the dark romance element and the dangerous plot line (and the HEA) . It was an easy read and I think I could be swayed towards more dark hockey romances in the future!

I absolutely loved this book!! It was darker than the Legacy of Gods series and I kinda loved that.
I did listen and read so Corvin King & Michelle Sparks did a fantastic job bringing the characters to life!
I really like the way she fell for his good guy act and thought he was the safest option š¤
I enjoyed the way she brought him back to life. Rina is so good writing complex characters and giving them slow but noticeable growth. Both characters not just one.
Her side characters are always great and I loved Preston and Jude. Iām excited for their books as well.

It started off SO GOOD but turned into the same old āRina Kent classicā. I like her writing and whatnot but her male characters are all carbon copies of each other and itās all the same freaking thing over and over again. Iām bored :/ Iāll still read her other books - they are addictive af but still annoys me.
