The “good girl” kink, the sharp power dynamics, the brutal chemistry — it was rough, raw, and completely addictive. If you want a safe, sweet romance, look elsewhere. This is for the ones who crave the hunt, the pull, the darkness... and are ready to lose themselves in it.
Oh. My. God. This book was deliciously insane. It tore me apart and stitched me together again stronger than ever. I was obsessed, utterly captivated from start to finish.
This being my first Rina Kent, I honestly have only one question:
Why didn’t I find her sooner?!
Kane and Daliha ripped through every page with a kind of savage energy that’s both brutal and magnetic. Kane’s… let’s be real — his licking of Daliha’s tear? Iconic King. It wasn’t just unhinged… it was intimate, dark, and completely, disturbingly erotic. And their chemistry? Off the charts. I felt it pulsing from every interaction, every heated glance, every spark-fly moment.
The spice scenes were insane. Not basic hot; these were leather-and-darkness-level hot. The kind that makes you both gasp and grin madly at the same time.
But this isn’t just about the sex though… oh no. The story itself was gloriously corrupted. So messed up, rotten in all the right ways, but I was here for it. Each twist, each betrayl, each moral slip felt like perfectly timed revelation. It pushed me deeper into the dark, and I loved being there.
And yes, I’m shaking:
Sweet Venom isn’t popping into my hands fast enough, I need it like the air I breathe. Literally.

Rina Kent has yet again written the exact same book for the 100000th time, and lookie here, it sucks again!
There is the rare moment I enjoy her characters, like Niko and Bran. However this book was just another repetition of every other couple in her Legacy of Gods series. The ridiculous non-con shit pisses me off because it’s so gods damn unnecessary, the secret society shit is so cliche, and both Kane and Dahlia pissed me off every second sentence. Does Rina Kent not have the ability to write a book that actually has a unique plot line and likeable characters?
Am I going to read the next book? I like to torture myself with these books in the hope the next one will finally be good, so yeah, probably. Let’s pray Jude and Vi do it better.

Ich hatte ehrlich übel Bock und fand das Buch auch gut. Kein übel Banger, dafür war es mir nicht rund genug, aber macht Laune auf mehr.
Ehrlicherweise kommt der Hockey-Vibe nicht soo rüber. Dieser Vencor-Part ist da präsenter (leider). Und angesichts dessen das brutal viel schon in Richtung der anderen beiden Bücher gedropt wird, wird diese secret society auch noch weiterhin bleiben. Und da ich eh gerade the sinner von Shantel Tessier gelesen habe bleibe ich gleich mal bei den Ähnlichkeiten. Also secret society ✅ MMC erstmal abweisendes Arschloch ✅ for real, Kane nervt so 1/2 des Buches dezent. Dieses sie wegstoßen wollen und sie ist ihm nicht wichtig blah blah. Die müssen sofort obsessed sein und das auch zeigen 🫡 internationale Regel leute. Naja, ansonsten sind Grant und Julian auch kacke, Jude gibt mir langeweile und Preston könnte geil werden, kann aber auch ne Schippe drüber sein… we will see.
Aber kommen wir mal zu den positiven Dingen. Dahlia kann für sich einstehen yey 🙌🏻 gab noch mehr Gutes lol.
