If you are looking for a book to pull you in and keep you entertained, this is the book you want. Book 3 in the series, it can stand alone, but is better if you listen in order. Remi is back after being shot in the first book, and he is captivated by Leah, the nurse who healed him. It's 18 months later and he is following her and loving her from afar. That is until she comes home one day to find her daughter kidnapped. Remi is there in a flash, and the story takes off. Not only does Ella Sheridan give us an engaging plot, but the chemistry between Remi and Leah is off the charts. Levi, Remi and Eli have that dangerous enticement that kept me captivated. I love the bad boys who have a heart! And the story flows with exciting suspense. I really enjoyed this story and can't wait to see what Sheridan has coming up next!

The narration for this is impeccable. Stella Hunter has an incredible voice and she brings it all out with Leah. The fear, the passion, the motherly instinct all come through with her inflections. Jason Clarke comes through as Remi with the dangerous assassin voice, yet his love for Leah shines through. I love this team and enjoy when they are narrating in duet!

Assassin's Heart is a very well written and composed story that flows easily making for an easy read. Remi and Leah's relationship is natural and they fit very well together. The story is compelling with passion and steam.

I am voluntarily leaving an unbiased, honest review.

If you have read the prior books to this series, you know that they take you for a ride. But What I loved about this one, it shows the heart of a killer. You do need to read the prior books to understand where Remi and Leah fit together and why. But oh do they fit together as a couple. Their passion for each other plus their need to protect just left you breathless. I absolutely loved the concept of this story as they go through the motions of getting Leah’s daughter back. Their connection was strong even though Leah fought it. She couldn’t deny it much longer. As we go through the motions of the story, you see how their relationship builds, not just physically but emotionally as well.
As a whole, this story will blow you away with it’s concept. I found it was one of a kind and very hard to put down. I was caught up in the rush of assassins plus the raw emotions that these two display for each other. If you need a unique story, snag up this one and the prior books. You will not be disappointed.

ALC received from Audibly Addicted for an honest review

I liked Leah and Remi in the first 2 books in this series , and now we have their story, and I liked it better than the first two.

We are back with the Agozi brothers and all their lives entail, and I liked seeing them awhile down the track from the other books.

Hunter and East bring these stories to life and leave me wanting more.

I need Eli's story, stat!

Remi Agozi and his brothers Levi and Eli live their lives as assassins and try to go on with their lives as much as possible without getting personally involved with anyone. Unfortunately now Remi is the only single brother left and he seems to be vanishing at certain times with no explanations.

When a past event brought Leah Marrone into Remi's life he has stood in the distance watching her and making sure that she is ok and safe raising her 6 year old daughter, Brooke.

Yet one day when he realizes something is wrong and he must do whatever he can to get Leah to trust him and his brothers to get Brooke back. Then Remi will go back into the shadows again to keep Leah safe from his lifestyle.

This is another great book in the series and I am sad that this is coming to an end!!

Remi was such a quiet and broody character who had fallen for a woman that he knew he had to keep at a distance in order to keep her safe.

Yet Remi had no idea about Leah's past and how the publicity she received 2 years ago put her in danger. I was shocked at who all was involved in Brooke's kidnapping and how they got involved in the first place. Leah had been searching for what was wanted but had no clue where it could even be which worried her and made her constantly run.

I liked that Remi and his brothers were able to start putting things together and got help when they needed it from King Moncrief. I am definitely curious to hear his story!!

I loved how everything went down and the end made perfect sense for Remi!!

Before listening to this book I did not realize it was 3rd in a series (oops my bad!). I do not believe that took away from the experience; however, it did not take away from the story, in fact it just makes me want the rest. I loved this story, the characters, their family, just everything. They dynamic between the three brothers is fantastic! I want more, I need more!

Assassin’s Heart was fun and yet extremely serious at times. You never got confused when those times

The line about kids being like a t-rex is absolutely hilarious and I laughed a good bit on that one.

*Listener Note: I listened to this as an Advanced Listener Copy (ALC), I received this free for an honest review.
