V resnici ne morem razpravi dodati niti ene originalne misli; na srečo sem povsem enakega mnenja kot vsi, ki so se te 1200-stranske pošasti lotili in se skozi njo prebili, z njo živeli, jo vlačili na odbojkarske tekme, v službo, na predstave, v kopalnico.
Tole odločitev sem enkrat že prespala in verjetno jo bom še nekajkrat, pa vseeno mislim, da je ne bom spremenila: Monte Kristus pač mora biti moja najljubša klasika pod soncem.

I feel very conflicted about this book. The first third of it was AMAZING!!! Then it started to lose speed and get really far too convoluted. Maybe audio isn't the way to go for this one - I wished I had a print copy at times to check who was who and I kept getting characters confused because they all have similar names and titles and pseudonyms! Gah! So I'll give this 3.5 stars because it's a classic and I'm sure at least part of it was my own fault, but really the last two-thirds just got kinda boring.
