A perfectly fine ending to the trilogy! Nothing crazy spectacular, but also nothing utterly disappointing. I wish that there had been more at stake or more action in the latter half of the book. It felt slow and almost too perfect of an ending? But still very happy that all the characters get a happy ending, especially after the events of the second book! I would definitely recommend this trilogy. It’s a story best suited for those in their mid teens to early twenties 🤗

There is so much political strategy and maneuvering in this book! It's very well written and researched, but unfortunately, there wasn't a lot of action to really keep me hooked throughout the story. We do get an interesting mystery that was cool to read. We get some sweet moments with Sage and Alex - though again, they go through a rough patch in the beginning that was a little frustrating to read. It just felt like they didn't learn anything after the struggles of the last book. I liked the addition of all of the side characters, and their stories. For the most part everything was wrapped up by the end or strongly hinting towards a nice ending which I appreciated.
Fade to black spicy scenes should be illegal. Still a great book tho.
