“I think the idea of me is better than the reality of me.”

I read this book within 24 hours simply because the only time I put it down was when I forced myself to go to sleep so I was not still awake at like 3am. I really love how Colleen Hoover executed a book in this genre whilst making it so twisted and captivating. There are so many devastating and shocking quotes that I loved making it hard to pick one for this.

From the first sentence I was automatically pulled into it and this is one of my favourite books by Colleen. I loved the characters like Lowen and Jeremy and how their romance was only one of the many creepy plots. The plot twist had me left with my jaw disconnected from my face because it was insane (and the covers meaning OMG???). This book is one I wish I could read again and again for the first time and I will definitely have to pick it up again some time.

"the real question is, which truth was she manipulating".
This sentence had me SCREAMING. As much as I love a closed ending, an open narrative had such an impact on this story and the discussion to have about team letter or team manuscript are amazing.

I really hope Colleen Hoover writes more of this genre because it has captivated her audience in such an amazing way. I still think of this book as I am rewriting my review again for the like fifth time five month later as if anybody is going to read this lol.

If you could not tell, I really loved this book and it 10000% worth the hype and positive reviews it gets! I could write so much more yet my brain cannot process it.

This. Book. Was. Insane. Absolutely could not put it down and it made me want to throw up. Probably the best/most disturbing thriller I’ve read since the last time I picked up a Karen Slaughter book. I literally read this in 3 hours and I’m still thinking about it.
