I really enjoyed the story and characters. Even cliches were executed in a way that felt refreshing. Of course, subverting expectations can be overdone if one tries to do so at every turn, and I feel like the middle part of the book suffered for it, but only mildly. The characters and their journey were still interesting.

Katsaaaaa <3 men jag insåg också att jag älskar de manliga karaktärerna hon skriver (except Giddon, fuck Giddon). Att det kanske är en stor skillnad från SJM. Det är ev inte av toxic reasons som jag älskar Lorcan, utan för att han har mest karaktärsutveckling, är mest dynamisk. Jag ser nämligen redan fram emot att träffa Sapphire och Teddy i nästa! What a treat! I’m so excited, and I just can’t hide it!
