When I was trying to decide what I wanted to say about this book in a review, all I could think of to say was what I felt after I'd finished, which was, "Eh."

I don't really have an extreme feeling about the book one way or another to be honest. I don't know if I went in expecting the wrong thing or what, but I just felt like I never really connected with the story or characters.

I felt bad for Chance's situation with Dan, the dirty old man, but that was about as much feeling as I could muster. And I never did see Brody's appeal. Even the dirty talk was a bit much for me. It also felt like a huge leap for them to "be in love" with each other by the end.

I don't want to sound completely negative, though. There was some good humor infused throughout by way of the reoccurring squirrel problem.

Overall, though, this story just didn't do it for me.

Terrible and tasteless. I don't mind vulgarity, but it was just ridiculous in a really bad way. Didnt even finish reading.

Two stars is rounding up, while not the worst book I've read, this isn't the best either. Characters are pretty one dimensional and not very rootable. Brody is borderline abusive, and Chance was just shallow and whiny. But the writing was decent(though there were a few errors), and it wasn't a chore to finish.
